May – A Month of Introspection

For some reason, my mind is always going.  And I keep having these questions go through my mind.  They are challenging me in my thoughts and relationship with the LORD.  So I have decided to make this month my 20 questions month.  These questions are meant to challenge me and you in our Christian walk.  My desire is that each day we look at our lives and evaluate where we are in our relationship with Christ.  Please take a few minutes each day and reflect on the question.  I welcome questions (don’t always have the answer, but I do know where to find it!).  I would love to hear from some of you if you feel led to share.  Thank you in advance!

May 10th Question #8:  If I were to die today and stand before God at the gates of Heaven, and He asked me this question, what would my answer be…… “Why should I let you into my Heaven?”

May your heart be blessed today.

  1. My answer would be, “so we can spend eternity together!”

    • Both great answers! This question and the one from yesterday are from what I learned in Evangelism Explosion to see where a person’s heart was. It is a question to get people to think about the requirement to get into heaven. As believers, we know that it is only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His redeeming work on Calvary, that we are allowed entrance into heaven. So when the question is asked, “why should I be allowed into heaven?” Because Jesus died for ME and I have accepted His death on the cross on my behalf, through no act or will of my own. Only because of Jesus. Thank you for your input, I love your humor!!

  2. Thought about putting some smarky remark here – then thought better of it.

    Happy Mother’s Day!
